Remember the days when it was just you and your family in the living watching a good TV show. Laughing and enjoying the moment ? It was a time to bond with your loved ones. In the world of social media and smart phones this has all changed. We have become a society that needs to involve not only our family but the world with every thing we do. Soon we will all have a second screen to watch as we enjoy our TV. Its called a “back- channel conversation” Places like Twitter and Facebook are well known for share your thoughts about whats going on in your life, but have you checked out GET GLUE ? This social media site allows you to “checkin” when you watching tv or a movie. You can post a comment and watch the stream of what others are saying online about the show.
The creators of the shows are watching this and popularity of comments. The show Walking Dead had over 850k social media post about it. The Super Bowl had about 12 million comments , The royal wedding’s buzz about 252 tweets a minute, and 8800 tweets per minute posted when Beyonce revealed she was pregnant.
Have you seen talk bubble ? Bravo led the way with ability to post and view the activity during the show. The Voice has tweets posted about the episode on the screen and project runway used tweets to encourage viewers to buy the products.

AT&T not playing fair !

AT&T Throttles my Internet usage !
This is ticks me off to no end. Have you gotten the message guess what you use your phone way to much and now your getting throttled. I received a text about a month ago that I was in the top 5% of internet users and I would be penalized for this. REALLY !!!!! Are you kidding me ? I have a smartphone people. I pay my monthly service for UNLIMITED use. So AT&T never factored that would mean me USING THE PHONE ! I need access to my database , Real Estate tools and MLS all day long when Im in the felid. There are times when Im waiting for clients that yes I am scanning facebook, twitter and pintrest but my usage is not over the top if you ask me. Just because the average user does not need the phone hourly does not mean I have to be curve my usage to what everyone else is doing. Think about it 95% of the people are not using it as much as I am so whats the problem !
I want to be like Matt Spaccarelli who took AT&T to court over this. GUESS what HE WON ! Its was not a big award only $850. The point is it was not fair for AT&T to just say to bad charlie we are not giving you what you paid for.
AT&T I think your to big for you pants and maybe offering excellent service would be a better options for your customer instead of taking services away.

Hollywood is sick of getting shafted for sharing of content by internet user’s. The bill is trying to protect Hollywood jobs in music and film. Like they don’t make enough money already , in my opinion.

The fear we are facing is creating legislation that ultimately can be used to add more censorship to the internet. BEWARE of ONLINE Censorship by the government.

Im not saying I understand the full extent of the bill nor the future actions that could come if these laws are passed. I think if your online and using the internet you do need to make your self aware of the bill and be active in having a voice with your congressmen.

Every voice counts as our government forms laws. Make sure your opinion is heard and contact your congressmen to vote for you !

1 Log in to Eedge and go to your site. In the right hand column click website and then profile. Edit this and in the MLS field make sure you have your REIN MLS # in this field
2. At the bottom you see a field for MLS click this and make sure you have the OFFICE ID number here.

I’m looking at why the feature listings are all KW and if we can change this or maybe I have a setting wrong. As I learn more Ill post and we will have classes on it.
