It’s one of those days that I just want to sew and sew and sew.
I head straight to my Pinterest board for inspiration. I love tutorials that offer the pattern, the how-to and lots of photos of the steps.
My absolute favorite ones are the ones that are really simple and quick to whip up.
This afternoon I tackled the twirl skirt.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to take still shots of a two-year-old?

I think my tiny loves her new skirt. It took me a lot longer than the instructions because I did not have a ruffle foot. I ended up doing two rows of long stitches and making the gathers myself. I believe the longest part of the process was trying to lineup the gathers on each tear. I must’ve taken them out five times.

The only real still shot I could get was while she was eating lunch.
