Did you know that a pie crust tube is more expensive than 2 crust pre formed 

I did a bit of comparison shopping the other day and was surprised………

So now on to the HACK.  Tonight I made chicken pot pie with 2 deep crust performed pie shell. I allowed both to defrost at room temperature.

Once the chicken filling was in  1st shell. I slowly lowered the other pie on to.

The crust was still IN THE pie tin I waited a few moments and then pressed the edges together.

I then slowly lifted the top pie pan and allowed the crust to fall on top. From there is was easy to press the edge together.



3 Perfectly topped pie without having to roll and measure
